Changelog
EveryWall's versions, from the first one. 1.0.0 arrived within a handful of days and is the one published on the App Store.
1.0.0 - the first published version
Same content as 0.9.7: only the number changes, because a first release starting at 0.9.7 looks odd on the App Store. Submitted for review on 14 August 2026, published on 16 August, free, in every country.
0.9.x - the fixes that came from testing on a real phone
Six defects found by using the app on a real iPhone, not on the Simulator:
- The favourites notebook stayed in Italian on a phone set to English.
- The top icons disappeared against light wallpapers.
- The widget did not read clearly.
- The preview of the saved file was softer than the one on screen.
- The grain could not be seen. The second time round the reason became clear: in the engine it is one-pixel noise, which at 460 pixels per inch the eye does not resolve.
- With large accessibility text the panel became unusable.
The privacy manifest and the App Store listing texts arrived here too.
0.8.x - the two languages
A string catalogue with fifty entries, Italian and English both complete, the Photos permission text translated, a bilingual widget. The graphics names follow the phone's language, and so does the alphabetical order of the carousel, which is not the same in two languages.
0.7.0 - the wallpaper of the day
The panel at the top showing today's wallpaper, decided by the date, plus the widget for the Home Screen in three sizes. The daily image is prepared after the first preview, so the launch stays fast.
The first versions
The generative engine with its fifty-five graphics and twenty-six palettes, the full-screen preview in the phone's real proportions, the wallpaper code that regenerates an identical wallpaper, favourites, saving at the exact resolution of the screen and sharing. Sixty-six automated tests, all green.
